About the position

The Principal Geoscience Advisor will serve as the focal point for all Product Line input to support OFSE, coordinating communication between clients, Product Lines, and Geoscience regional teams. This role involves providing expert analysis in Cased-Hole Wireline and Production Logging, supporting existing services, and acting as a global technical contact for clients. The advisor will also be responsible for developing and optimizing Production Logging deliverables and mentoring the Geoscience population through training and competency tracking.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the focal point for all Product Line input to support OFSE.
  • Coordinate in-region communication between clients, Product Lines, and Geoscience regional teams.
  • Provide Cased-Hole Wireline and Production Logging related analysis using state-of-the-art techniques.
  • Support and interpret existing Production Logging services as a subject matter expert.
  • Create data quality specifications, interpretation workflows, and answer products.
  • Support analytical and design activities using proven technologies and methods.
  • Act as the global focal point for development, implementation, or optimization of Production Logging deliverables.
  • Serve as a global technical contact to customers, providing routine follow-up and technology presentations.
  • Participate in applications of CH Wireline solutions in integrated projects.
  • Write and present industry papers and publications.
  • Author course content for Production Logging and serve as a certified instructor.
  • Teach and mentor the global Geoscience population with remote and in-person training.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college.
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in Geoservices.
  • Expertise in Production Logging.
  • Patent or publication related to Geosciences.
  • Extensive knowledge of discipline topics and ability to engage with clients.
  • Proficiency in discipline-related software including PLATO and Emeraude.
  • Experience in multiple regional petroleum basins/provinces.
