About The Position

At Raytheon, we are committed to helping our nation and allies defend freedoms and deter aggression. Our Receiver, Exciter, and Back-End Processing (REBEP) Department is at the forefront of receiver, exciter, beam steering, and signal processing technology. We are currently seeking an Electrical Engineer who will play a crucial role in solving complex technical problems and providing innovative solutions in the area of Radar and Receiver Exciter design, analysis, integration, and testing. This position is integral to the architecture development, integration, and analysis of receiver and exciter systems within complex radar systems. The challenges faced in this role range from RF chain and link budget analysis to the definition and verification of Digital Signal Processing algorithms. As an Electrical Engineer, you will be involved in all phases of radar design and integration, from requirements definition to system sell-off and verification. Your responsibilities will include defining requirements and ensuring they flow from the system level down to the Receiver/Exciter level, developing Receiver and Exciter architecture, and defining interfaces between subsystems. You will also support the definition of signal processing algorithms based on the capabilities of the Receiver/Exciter and the needs of the system. Additionally, you will be tasked with resolving complex technical issues that arise during the design, integration, and testing of Radar Receiver and Exciter subsystems, processing and analyzing data to identify and resolve performance issues, and troubleshooting both hardware and software issues. This role requires direct interaction with customers to provide technical and program-level status updates.
