About the position

The Principal Hardware Operations Manager at Ivanti, Inc. is responsible for managing supply chain optimization projects and collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet product cost, schedule, and quality goals. This role involves overseeing the Return Management Authorization process, managing timelines, and documenting key processes to share with management and supply chain teams. The manager will also assist with supplier performance goals, perform demand forecasting, and lead inventory management to ensure timely production and fulfillment of global shipments.

Responsibilities

  • Manage supply chain optimization projects and collaborate with cross-functional leads to meet product cost, schedule, and quality goals.
  • Manage the Return Management Authorization process, ensuring global warehouse supply continuity and services contract fulfillment.
  • Communicate expectations and document key processes, strategies, and best practices for management and supply chain teams.
  • Assist with key supplier performance goals and formalize them into Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) discussing cost, quality, and delivery.
  • Perform demand forecasting for critical scenarios, including new product introductions, geographical expansions, and seasonality, to formulate a reliable production plan.
  • Craft the end-to-end forecasting process by defining milestones, deliverables, owners, timelines, and monthly build plans.
  • Monitor and manage support product inventory levels.
  • Analyze historical data and variance reporting to continuously improve forecast inputs.
  • Lead fulfillment for all global shipments by managing critical KPIs and dashboards on ERP to improve production deliverables, inventory levels, aging and turn ratio, on-time delivery, and shipment accuracy.
  • Lead inventory management and align it with component sourcing to prevent stockouts and production delays.
  • Conduct quarterly reviews of excess, obsolete, and scrap inventory to salvage value and save on storage costs.
  • Work with contract manufacturers to ensure timely production per customer demand and troubleshoot deviations from the normal schedule.
  • Support system integration projects including EDI, NetSuite, SAP, Salesforce, and third-party software applications.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain and Logistics or a related field.
  • Two years of experience in supply chain forecasting, including inventory planning.
  • Experience with the quote to cash process, procurement, excess and obsolescence management.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including advanced Excel for data analysis.
  • Experience with Salesforce for customer relationship management.
  • Familiarity with SAP software for business management and order flow continuity.
