About the position

Workday is seeking a senior level benefits professional to oversee employee benefit programs across the Americas region. This role involves leading the strategy for benefits and communications, managing day-to-day program and vendor management, and conducting analyses and proposals. The position is integral to creating innovative benefit programs that enhance employee experience and align with company values.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the strategy for employee benefits and communications.
  • Manage day-to-day program management and vendor relationships.
  • Perform analysis and proposals for benefit programs.
  • Conduct Requests for Proposals (RFPs) for benefits vendors.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners to enhance benefits offerings.
  • Ensure compliance with legal requirements across the Americas region.
  • Promote employee education and advocacy regarding benefits programs.
  • Develop and present strategic roadmaps to senior leadership.

Requirements

  • 10 or more years of experience working in benefits.
  • Deep knowledge of benefits programs in US, Canada, Mexico, and Costa Rica.
  • Expertise in medical and pharmacy innovation and strategies.
  • Understanding of legal requirements and compliance activities in the Americas.
  • Excellent customer service skills focused on employee education and advocacy.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in person and through written correspondence.
  • Experience in Workday benefits administration.
  • Intermediate level expertise in Microsoft Office and/or G Suite tools.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in a large high volume, fast-paced environment, preferably in the tech industry.
  • Participation in professional benefits organizations and networking groups.

Benefits

  • Competitive salary range of $160,000 - $240,000 USD based on location and experience.
  • Eligibility for Workday Bonus Plan or role-specific commission/bonus.
