About the position

The Industrial Engineer position at Northrop Grumman's Payload and Ground Systems division in Oxnard, California, focuses on supporting new production lines for spacecraft components. Responsibilities

• Setup, scale up, & optimize production lines & spacecraft production areas.
• Analyze production data, VSMs, & manufacturing workflows to provide targeted & strategic approaches to continuous improvement, production efficiency, & quality assurance.
• Coordinate with leaders & stakeholders through routine touchpoints to communicate & align strategy.
• Evaluate & implement training, tools, and/or plans related to maximizing production output, inventory control, quality assurance & cost reduction.

Requirements

• For Level 2: 2 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree; 0 years of relevant experience with a Master's degree; an additional 4 years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
• For Level 3: 5 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree; 3 years of relevant experience with a Master's degree; an additional 4 years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
• Experience with VSMs (Value Stream Map) and production line analysis.
