About The Position
Applied Signal Technology (AST) is seeking a Principal Infrastructure/Network Engineer to join our elite Engineering team. In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in advancing our mission by enhancing the design, development, testing, and delivery of cutting-edge communication systems. As a Principal Infrastructure/Network Engineer, you will guide and oversee the design, development, testing, and delivery of advanced high-capacity systems that process modern communications. You will collaborate with other experienced team members in Research and Development on system development and deployments that support multiple programs. Your role will also involve generating briefings and presenting materials to team members, customers, and AST Management as necessary. This position requires a balance of autonomy and collaboration, allowing you to work independently while also being an integral part of a team. This is an onsite position based in Salt Lake City, UT, where you will have the opportunity to contribute to significant projects that have a real-world impact.
