As a Principal System Integration and Test Engineer for Armament Systems in Plymouth MN, your responsibilities will be as a technical contributor designing and building System Integration Test Environments for multiple development efforts. You will work with other engineers, technicians, program managers and administrative personnel to accomplish your objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Designing Processor-In-Loop and Hardware-In-Loop systems to perform System Integration testing of complex systems in a lab environment.
  • Creating, maintaining, and executing System Integration Test Plans and documenting results in Test Reports for multiple development efforts.
  • Utilizing common FPGA design tools to create custom Test Setups to meet program testing needs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Systems, or Aerospace Engineering, Physics, or related discipline + 5 years of relevant experience
  • Master's degree + 3 years of experience
  • PhD plus 0 experience
  • Modeling and simulation experience with Matlab/Simulink
  • Experience using HDL Coder and Vivado
  • Strong communication skills, verbal and written
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
  • Ability to multitask and organize/prioritize job assignments in a rapidly changing, short turn-around environment
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Power Point, Project)

Nice-to-haves

  • Defense or aerospace industry experience
  • Experience working with Simulink Real-Time
  • Experience with Speedgoat Real-Time Simulation and Testing equipment
  • Experience with SysML and Cameo Enterprise Architect software.
