About the position

The Principal IT M&A Program Manager at Honeywell is responsible for managing the end-to-end delivery of complex projects related to mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures. This role involves collaborating with various stakeholders, including M&A Business Development Managers and Corporate IT leaders, to ensure effective execution of integration and separation processes while maintaining compliance with legal and security standards. The position requires a focus on driving M&A initiatives, managing risks, and delivering results within established timelines and budgets.

Responsibilities

  • Manage M&A activities, leveraging vendor relationships and influencing stakeholders outside the organization.
  • Drive M&A executions according to defined playbooks, policies, and standards.
  • Define and document project requirements, timelines, decisions, actions, and meeting minutes.
  • Ensure IT, legal, and security compliance from due diligence through execution to closure.
  • Evaluate target companies for IT integration during due diligence for potential acquisitions.
  • Develop and communicate project plans, schedules, costs, and progress to stakeholders.
  • Engage with corporate and SBG stakeholders to understand requirements for smooth execution and delivery.
  • Manage risks, issues, escalations, budget, stakeholders, and change management effectively.
  • Present to C-level staff as needed.
  • Manage M&A website, training, and onboarding programs for delivery managers.
  • Create leadership presentations and conduct workshops during execution.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of program management or service delivery leadership experience in IT.
  • 5+ years of large program execution or M&A integration experience.
  • Experience in driving enterprise-wide/global ERP or CRM projects is highly recommended.
  • Program Management certification from Project Management Institute (PMI) or Scrum Alliance is a plus.
