About The Position

Java development for an emerging technology company. This role involves full development life cycle and production support/application maintenance in an Agile/rapid development environment. The technologies used include Java, Spring, Spring Boot, Angular, Hibernate, Webhooks, git, Jira, MySQL, GraphQL, and Camunda BPM.

Requirements

• 2+ years of Spring Boot experience
• 2+ years of Angular experience
• Ability to solve complex problems without assistance
• Aptitude in mentoring junior team members

• Desire and willingness to work on new skills and technologies
• Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
• Must reside within driving distance of Tampa and be able to attend in-person meetings on request
• Candidates must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship (no subcontracts or visa sponsorship)

Nice To Haves

• JavaScript or TypeScript experience helpful but not required
• Experience with any BPM tool
• Computer Science degree or background

Responsibilities

• Java based software development - J2EE, Spring, Spring Boot
• Work on sprint team in agile, rapid development and deployment environment
• Develop understanding of client business processes, objectives, and solution requirements
• Develop understanding of application processes, coding standards, and performance standards
• Help with solution design
• Analyze and convert business requirements to technical requirements
• Code per development, performance, and secure coding standards; resolve defects identified in testing and code reviews
• Learn existing and new processes and technologies
• Support production application - investigate and resolve production inquiries and issues
