About the position

The position involves joining a hybrid-remote team at CoreLogic to work on diverse AI projects, focusing on machine learning and advanced analytics. The role emphasizes ownership, continuous learning, and collaboration, with responsibilities including model training, validation, and deployment in a cloud-based environment. The candidate will also engage with clients, provide analytic support, and mentor junior colleagues, contributing to the development of an analytics platform.

Responsibilities

• Perform model training and validation using various machine learning techniques on structured/unstructured data, including imagery, text, and graphs.
• Support deployment of models in a cloud-based Linux environment.
• Present model performance to clients and prospects.
• Provide pre-sales and post-sales analytic support and interact with both internal and external clients and prospects.
• Create model reports for client review and maintain model documentation.
• Conduct defined quantitative and qualitative research projects independently and communicate research results to stakeholders.
• Take a team leadership role in developing and refining an analytics development platform.
• Mentor and train junior colleagues.

Requirements

• Master's Degree or higher in machine learning, science, math, statistics, engineering field, or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years of related modeling building experience.
• Experience in Deep Learning techniques such as Transformers, LLM, VLM, vision transformers, transfer learning, LORA, PEFT, CNN, or NLP.
• Proficiency in Python and/or C/C++ with libraries such as PyTorch, JAX, Scikit-learn, MLflow, and Hugging Face.
• Experience supporting multiple modalities such as spatial, 3D, and audio.
• Experience working in a cloud-based Linux environment.
• Experience using distributed computing techniques such as DDP, FSDP, or DeepSpeed is a plus.
• Publications or open source contributions are a plus.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Strong communication skills and ability to adapt to new concepts quickly.
• Ability to thrive in a team environment.
• Demonstrated knowledge of statistical techniques and multiple analytic development tools.
