About the position

The Principal Marketing Manager for Mid-Market & Money Sales Marketing at Intuit is responsible for driving impactful marketing strategies that cater to mid-market customers. This role involves managing both inbound and outbound product marketing programs, collaborating closely with sales teams, and leveraging customer insights to enhance product offerings. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a strong background in B2B marketing, capable of influencing cross-functional teams and executing go-to-market plans that align with the company's objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Manage both inbound and outbound product marketing programs, leading initiatives at any phase of the product life cycle.
  • Deep partnership with sales and sales enablement teams to prioritize product solutions and audience segments.
  • Embed with Mid Market sales teams to develop a rapid cycle learning agenda to understand customer needs and pain points.
  • Guide the marketing strategy for the Money product portfolio via the Mid-market sales channel.
  • Design and manage processes for gathering and synthesizing customer insights for sales teams.
  • Leverage consumer insights, competitive analysis, and technological capabilities to uncover differentiation opportunities.
  • Collaborate with Finance and other marketers to build a 1-year revenue forecast and corresponding marketing plan.
  • Develop clear hypotheses and collaborate with cross-functional teams to test and iterate marketing strategies.
  • Co-own revenue targets with Mid-Market sales partners to develop customer targeting and omni-channel demand strategies.
  • Make recommendations and share learnings across the organization.

Requirements

  • BA/BS required, or equivalent work experience.
  • 10+ years professional experience in marketing driving go-to-market strategies, particularly in SaaS and B2B marketing.
  • Ability to translate consumer insights and business strategies into execution.
  • Proven experience influencing cross-functional teams to deliver outcomes.
  • Exceptional verbal, written, visual/presentation, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ownership, responsibility, initiative, and desire to drive measurable performance results.
  • Strong project management, analytical skills, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to lead and influence without direct authority.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in SaaS companies and an MBA is a plus.
  • Deep curiosity about customer motivations.
