About the position

Infosys is seeking a Principal Marketing Manager specializing in Public Relations, who possesses a deep passion and understanding of the field, particularly within the IT sector. This role is pivotal in promoting IT service lines across various business verticals. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in developing and managing public relations campaigns on a global scale, ensuring alignment with business objectives set forth by management. The position is based in either Dallas or New York, and may require travel up to 15%.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage public relations campaigns that align with business objectives.
  • Execute strategic plans independently, leveraging subject matter expertise to achieve success metrics.
  • Manage media relations and develop strong relationships with external partners.
  • Create and review press releases, messaging, briefing books, bylines, and other content.
  • Lead stakeholder management efforts, confidently sharing recommendations backed by data and experience.
  • Collaborate with a globally distributed team and agencies across different time zones.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required; or three years of progressive experience in lieu of every year of education.
  • At least 13 years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor's degree or 11 years with an MBA.
  • Deep understanding of public relations in a global context.
  • Strong leadership skills in executing key processes and achieving success metrics.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in digital marketing is an added advantage.
  • Exposure to technology service-related marketing is beneficial.
  • Ability to work effectively with a globally distributed team.
