As a senior memory system engineer, you'll need a deep understanding of SoC memory subsystem architecture and memory technologies, including LPDDR4/5/6, HBM3/4, DDR5/6 and DDR modules. You'll be responsible for researching state-of-the-art memory technologies, close collaboration with SoC architects, and pathfinding new memory platform solutions to impact Qualcomm mobile, auto, compute, AI projects. You'll work with SoC platform architecture, DDR IP, SoC Infra/interconnect and other memory-related components and evaluation teams. Identify and quantify the value of memory-related quality/reliability RAS initiatives. You'll be responsible for system KPI optimization of memory subsystems in both pre-silicon and post-silicon environments. Identifying performance bottlenecks and proposing solutions will be a crucial part of your role. Analyze electrical and functional test data to drive into production SOC and system solution decisions. You will work with memory suppliers to ensure proper tests are performed, qualification is complete, and issue debug is handled with appropriate urgency.
