About the position

The Principal Mobile Engineer (React Native) will lead a team of developers in creating a location-based online dating platform focused on non-traditional relationship models. This role combines technical leadership with hands-on engineering, emphasizing the development of scalable, user-centric features for a rapidly growing user base. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mobile development, particularly in React Native, and experience with both Android and iOS platforms.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to a team of 6 developers.
• Own the React Native platform architecture and development.
• Design and implement scalable features for a rapidly growing user base.
• Collaborate closely with product teams to deliver exceptional user experiences.
• Stay ahead of mobile development trends and introduce best practices.

Requirements

• Proven experience in mobile development, particularly with React Native.
• Strong leadership skills with experience mentoring developers.
• Experience in designing scalable architectures for mobile applications.
• Familiarity with both Android and iOS development environments.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
