We have an opening for a Principal Network Engineer (Juniper and security-focused) to join our Network Engineering team. This role involves working with a wide variety of vendor equipment and managing both on-premise and cloud connectivity. The team is responsible for data center networking and corporate office network needs, ensuring that there is nothing boring about the work. Responsibilities

• Design and deploy new infrastructure
• Recommend upgrades and solve complex issues on existing infrastructure
• Participate in life cycle projects of network gear
• Automate day-to-day tasks of network provisioning
• Deliver complex projects and communicate well with other operations teams
• Train and mentor junior engineers
• Work on DDOS mitigations and other security initiatives
• Handle PCI compliance tasks
• Be part of a 24x7 network engineering team and take part in on-call rotations
• Deploy or maintain Data Center or Corporate Office network infrastructure
• Troubleshoot and fix complex issues with other operations teams
• Generate and update documentation

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in network engineering in large-scale enterprise and data center environments (Juniper focused)
• Automation experience with tools like Ansible to provision and configure network infrastructure
• Extensive experience with configuration of security appliances (Palo Alto, F5, and Juniper products)
• Understanding of load balancing technologies, DNS, and SAAS Infrastructure
• Experience with cloud platforms like AWS and GCP
• Understanding of cloud and on-premises network connectivity
• Experience with Wireless Technologies for corporate offices
• Solid working experience with routing and switching technologies: TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, ISIS, MPLS (L2 & L3 VPN), RSVP, LDP, Switching technologies (VLAN/trunking, STP, RSTP, VSTP)
• Vendor Certification in routing and switching, firewalls, wireless is a plus (JNCIP, JNCIE, CCNP, CCIE, etc.)
• Linux skills to deploy monitoring tools
• Perl or Python experience is a plus
