About the position

The Principal Oracle Cloud HCM Developer is responsible for providing technical development services throughout the System Development Life-cycle (SDLC) for Oracle HCM modules. This role involves requirements gathering, design specification, code development, testing, and implementation support. The developer will work on application customizations, integrations, reporting, and automated workflows, leveraging their expertise in IT architectures and cloud technologies. The position is hybrid/remote, allowing for flexibility in work location, with some travel required.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical development services throughout the System Development Life-cycle (SDLC).
  • Gather requirements and create design specifications for Oracle HCM modules.
  • Develop code and perform unit, integration, and acceptance testing.
  • Support implementation of application customizations and enhancements.
  • Work on integrations and interfaces, conversions, reporting, and automated workflows.
  • Provide end-user support and troubleshoot technical issues related to Oracle HCM Cloud.
  • Support Oracle HCM Cloud product releases and recommend enhancements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Business Management, or Information Services.
  • Ten or more years of experience as a systems analyst developer, including at least three years supporting Oracle HCM modules.
  • Strong experience with Oracle HCM Cloud Tech skills including Data Loader, Integrations, Extensions, and Reports.
  • Experience with Middleware technologies, preferably OIC.
  • Hands-on experience with SQL, PL/SQL, XML, JavaScript, and Web Services.
  • Ability to support Oracle HCM Cloud product releases and optimize system performance.

Nice-to-haves

  • Master's Degree in Information Services, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Five years of experience supporting Oracle Cloud/e-business HCM, Payroll, Supply Chain, or Finance.
  • Experience in Visual Builder Cloud Service (VBCS) development.
  • Experience in customization of Redwood pages.
  • Experience in API development and management.
