About the position

The Principal Oracle Cloud HCM Developer is responsible for providing technical development services throughout the System Development Life-cycle (SDLC) for Oracle HCM modules. This includes requirements gathering, design specification, code development, testing, and implementation support. The role requires a strong understanding of IT architectures, cloud technologies, and functional business processes in areas such as Finance, Human Resources, Payroll, and Supply Chain. The position is hybrid/remote, allowing for flexibility in work location, with some travel expected.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical development services throughout the System Development Life-cycle (SDLC).
  • Gather requirements and create design specifications for Oracle HCM modules.
  • Develop code and perform unit, integration, and acceptance testing.
  • Support implementation of application customizations and enhancements.
  • Work with integration and interfaces, conversions, reporting, and automated workflows.
  • Provide end-user support and troubleshoot technical issues related to Oracle HCM Cloud.
  • Support Oracle HCM Cloud product releases and recommend enhancements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Business Management, or Information Services.
  • Ten or more years of experience as a systems analyst developer, including at least three years supporting Oracle HCM modules.
  • Strong experience with Oracle HCM Cloud Tech skills including Data Loader, Integrations, Extensions, and Reports.
  • Experience with Middleware technologies and integration patterns.
  • Hands-on experience with SQL, PL/SQL, XML, JavaScript, and Web Services.

Nice-to-haves

  • Master's Degree in Information Services, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Five years of experience supporting Oracle Cloud/e-business HCM, Payroll, Supply Chain, or Finance.
  • Experience in Visual Builder Cloud Service (VBCS) development.
  • Experience in customization of Redwood pages.
  • Experience in API development and management.
