About the position

The Principal Oracle Cloud HCM Developer is responsible for providing technical development services throughout the System Development Life-cycle (SDLC) for Oracle HCM modules. This role involves requirements gathering, design specification, code development, testing, and implementation support, focusing on application customizations, integrations, and automated workflows. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of IT architectures, particularly in cloud technologies, and will support Oracle HCM Cloud product releases and enhancements.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical development services throughout the System Development Life-cycle (SDLC).
  • Gather requirements and create design specifications for Oracle HCM modules.
  • Develop code and perform unit, integration, and acceptance testing.
  • Support implementation of application customizations and enhancements.
  • Work with Oracle HCM modules including Core HR, Compensation, Payroll, Talent Acquisition, and Benefits.
  • Utilize strong Oracle HCM Cloud Tech skills across Data Loader, Integrations, and Reports.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems related to Oracle HCM Cloud.
  • Support Oracle HCM Cloud product releases and recommend enhancements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Business Management, or Information Services.
  • Ten or more years of experience as a systems analyst developer, with at least three years supporting Oracle HCM modules.
  • Strong experience with Oracle HCM Cloud Tech skills including Data Loader and Integrations.
  • Experience with Middleware technologies, preferably OIC.
  • Hands-on experience with SQL, PL/SQL, XML, JavaScript, and Web Services.

Nice-to-haves

  • Master's Degree in Information Services, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Five years of experience supporting Oracle Cloud/e-business HCM, Payroll, or Finance.
  • Experience in Visual Builder Cloud Service (VBCS) development.
  • Experience in customization of Redwood pages.
  • Experience in API development and management.
