About the position

The Principal Oracle Cloud HCM Developer is responsible for providing technical development services throughout the System Development Life-cycle (SDLC), including requirements gathering, design specification, code development, testing, and implementation support. This role focuses on application customizations, enhancements, integrations, and reporting within Oracle HCM Cloud, requiring a strong understanding of business processes in areas such as Finance, Human Resources, and Payroll. The position is hybrid/remote, allowing for flexibility in work location, with potential travel requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical development services throughout the System Development Life-cycle (SDLC).
• Gather requirements and create design specifications for Oracle HCM applications.
• Develop code and perform unit, integration, and acceptance testing.
• Support implementation of application customizations and enhancements.
• Work with integrations and interfaces, conversions, reporting, and automated workflows.
• Provide end-user support and troubleshoot technical issues related to Oracle HCM Cloud.
• Support Oracle HCM Cloud product releases and recommend enhancements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Business Management, or Information Services.
• Ten or more years of experience as a systems analyst developer, with at least three years supporting Oracle HCM modules.
• Strong experience with Oracle HCM Cloud technologies including Data Loader, Integrations, and Reports.
• Hands-on experience with SQL, PL/SQL, XML, JavaScript, and Web Services.
• Experience with Middleware technologies and integration patterns.

Nice-to-haves

• Master's Degree in Information Services, Business Administration, or related field.
• Five years of experience supporting Oracle Cloud/e-business HCM, Payroll, or Finance.
• Experience in Visual Builder Cloud Service (VBCS) development.
• Experience in customization of Redwood pages and API development.
