About the position

As a Principal PMT in Traffic Engineering at Amazon, you will lead the development and management of innovative managed connectivity architecture that supports multiple products. This role focuses on creating a strategic roadmap for Amazon's Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) infrastructure, ensuring it is secure, highly available, and scalable. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to drive feature delivery and manage large deliverables, while also being customer-focused and motivated to tackle complex challenges.

Responsibilities

• Own and drive the roadmap strategy and definition for managed connectivity architecture.
• Manage feature delivery and tradeoffs across multiple products.
• Lead cross-functional teams to execute strategic initiatives effectively.
• Create and drive a high-level vision and strategic roadmap for Amazon managed connectivity architecture.
• Collaborate with engineers on product enhancements and improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Experience owning and driving roadmap strategy and definition.
• Proven experience in technical product management.
• Strong background in project management methodologies and business analysis.
• Ability to manage large deliverables across multiple teams and organizations.

Nice-to-haves

• Prior experience with AWS technologies is desirable but not required.
• Experience in process improvement initiatives.
