About the position

Prime Video is seeking a Senior Manager for Technology & Systems Integration to design and build the next generation of broadcast infrastructure for live production. This role involves overseeing engineering and technology projects related to Prime Video's sports portfolio, including NFL, NWSL, NHL, NASCAR, and NBA. The candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement best-in-class technical solutions, manage project life cycles, and lead live production efforts. The position requires strong leadership, strategic thinking, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee engineering and technology projects for Prime Video's sports portfolio.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive technical solutions.
• Manage project life cycles and establish effective communication across departments.
• Lead live production efforts on projects like technology deployment and facility build-out.
• Conduct workflow analysis and implementation, asset management, and signal acquisition.
• Support content and operational goals by leading technical projects.
• Establish best practices to assess risks and manage project schedules.
• Mentor team members and foster a culture of learning and curiosity.

Requirements

• Minimum of 10 years in broadcast systems technology design and engineering.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience with budgeting & capital planning.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to hire, mentor, and develop a high-performing team.
• Strong P&L sensibility and experience in developing effective cross-functional relationships.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Knowledge of streaming technology and platforms.

Nice-to-haves

• Audio/Video engineering experience.
