The Principal Engineer will independently resolve issues that arise during the course of their work, ensuring that projects align with the company's strategic goals and objectives. In this role, the Principal Engineer will lead strategic planning for long-range resource technology and manage major technical projects or multiple projects of significant scope and complexity that have a substantial impact on the business. The individual will be tasked with planning, organizing, and conducting complex engineering projects that necessitate an expert application of advanced knowledge in their field. They will originate and apply innovative methods and procedures to enhance project outcomes and evaluate the impact of emerging technologies and business trends. The Principal Engineer will prepare comprehensive proposals and cost estimates, evaluate project progress and results, and recommend and direct the implementation of major revisions in approaches and objectives as necessary. They will champion initiatives aimed at resolving critical processes and technological issues, contributing to the development of novel technologies and integrative approaches to key problems facing Honeywell and FM&T. Additionally, the role involves negotiating complex states of work, schedules, and budgets, while anticipating and resolving issues related to customer relationships. The Principal Engineer will also serve as a technical expert, advising and consulting with other technical and administrative personnel to drive and implement both short and long-term projects. Furthermore, they will lead, train, and mentor lower-level engineers, scientists, and technicians, fostering a culture of growth and development within the engineering team.

Responsibilities
