About the position

As a Principal Product Designer for Data Experience at Clari, you will lead the design of end-to-end experiences that connect data, metrics, and insights to the needs of business users. This role involves collaborating with product managers and engineers to shape how revenue data is captured and modeled, ensuring that key metrics and insights are effectively surfaced for users. You will be responsible for driving cross-functional initiatives, contributing to a data visualization design system, and unifying analytical capabilities, including AI integration.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with cross-functional partners to establish a shared vision for managing revenue data and integrating insights into products.
  • Identify complex design challenges at the intersection of data and business needs, proposing innovative solutions.
  • Transform technical complexities of data models and ecosystems into actionable insights for business users.
  • Articulate jobs-to-be-done for multiple personas and drive solutions to meet their needs.
  • Anticipate and define new UX metrics to measure the quality of experiences across products and platforms.
  • Ship quality features in Agile development environments to deliver continuous value.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of software design experience, including at least 6+ years in B2B SaaS products.
  • Extensive experience in data-heavy or analytical products serving business needs.
  • Proven experience leading cross-functional design initiatives in a B2B SaaS environment.
  • Expert understanding of SaaS principles, business models, and market dynamics.
  • Mastery in UI design, interaction design, and information architecture.
  • Strong understanding of designing for various devices and platforms.
  • Demonstrated track record of delivering transformative design solutions that drive business impact.
  • Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Figma.
