About the position

The Principal Product Designer, Design Systems at Zscaler is responsible for designing and executing modern, scalable UX/UI components and patterns for complex enterprise SaaS use cases. This role involves collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent user experiences across multiple products while driving innovation through a deep understanding of customer needs and industry best practices.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute pixel-perfect, scalable UX/UI components and patterns for enterprise SaaS use cases.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product Designers, Engineering, Content, Marketing, and Product Managers.
• Conduct stakeholder and customer interviews, surveys, and usability tests to understand customer and business domains.
• Rapidly visualize and prototype multiple product directions and validate design hypotheses.
• Contribute to building best practices and a design-driven approach across the organization.

Requirements

• 8-10 years of experience as a Product or UX Designer for enterprise SaaS products.
• 2-3 years of experience working on Design Systems with a proven track record of delivering UX/UI components.
• Bachelor's degree in HCI or a related field.
• Proficiency in end-to-end product design including UX research, stakeholder communication, and visual design.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience designing UX for products in the Enterprise Cyber-security domain.
• Founding member of an enterprise-grade Design System.
• Experience building UI components in modern JS frameworks like React, Vue, or Angular.
