About the position

C3.ai is seeking a Principal Product Designer to lead the design of its AI applications. This role involves defining and creating a compelling user experience and product vision by collaborating closely with leadership, product, and engineering teams. The designer will work alongside other designers to address customer issues, develop innovative solutions, and deliver products that enable customers to make fast and accurate business decisions.

Responsibilities

• Define early concepts and build out end-to-end workflows.
• Execute well-thought-out designs.
• Promote design insights and drive the adoption of design best practices across the organization.
• Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and design best practices, particularly in Generative AI.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or master's degree in a design-related field.
• At least 12 years of experience delivering compelling new experiences to market.
• Proven track record of shipping successful products with a balance of strong product vision and practical decision-making.
• Experience making tradeoffs between design goals and technical feasibility.
• Advanced understanding of design systems and UI/UX principles.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Detail-oriented approach with a commitment to pixel perfection and holistic user experience.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
