About the position

The Principal Product Designer at C3.ai will lead the design of AI applications, focusing on creating compelling user experiences and product visions. This role involves collaboration with leadership, product, and engineering teams to understand customer needs and deliver innovative solutions that enhance decision-making capabilities for clients. The designer will be involved in all stages of the design process, from concept definition to execution, while promoting design best practices across the organization.

Responsibilities

• Define early concepts and build out end-to-end workflows for design projects.
• Execute well-thought-out designs that meet user needs and business goals.
• Promote design insights and drive the adoption of design best practices across the organization.
• Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and design best practices, particularly in Generative AI.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or master's degree in a design-related field.
• At least 12 years of experience delivering compelling new experiences to market.
• Proven track record of shipping successful products with a balance of strong product vision and practical decision-making.
• Advanced understanding of design systems and UI/UX principles.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Detail-oriented approach with a commitment to pixel perfection and holistic user experience.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
