About the position

As a Principal Product Designer at Assured, you will be instrumental in shaping the visual identity and user experience of our software solutions aimed at modernizing the insurance industry. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver design solutions that exceed user expectations, while fostering a design-centric culture within the organization.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the strategic direction of product design, aligning initiatives with business goals.
• Drive the ideation, prototyping, and refinement of SaaS products, ensuring high standards of usability and visual appeal.
• Foster a design-centric culture, inspiring and mentoring design teams to deliver user-focused solutions.
• Ensure a consistent design language and branding across products, maintaining a cohesive user experience.
• Champion usability and accessibility principles, conducting research and utilizing metrics to inform design decisions.
• Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to align design efforts with product strategy.
• Establish and refine design processes, adapting them to scale with company growth.

Requirements

• Proven experience in product design with a track record of successful SaaS products.
• Exceptional skills in UX/UI design and product thinking, with a strong portfolio of user-focused designs.
• Ability to think strategically about design and articulate rationale behind design decisions.
• Experience applying user research, usability testing, and data-driven insights to drive design decisions.
• Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Strong prototyping abilities and experience creating interactive prototypes.
• Proficient in industry-standard design tools.
