Salesforce is seeking a Principal Product Designer to join our User Experience team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on both Enterprise and Consumer products, creating innovative design patterns and collaborating with cross-disciplinary teams to bring your visions to life. This position is pivotal in shaping the user experience, focusing on solving meaningful problems while ensuring inclusivity and accessibility in design. You will lead the team in crafting and articulating the product vision, aligning it with clear goals and rationales. This requires expert visualization skills, thought leadership, empathy, and the ability to work closely with product and technology partners. As a Principal Product Designer, you will immerse yourself in all aspects of end-to-end experience design. This includes utilizing storyboards, journey maps, flow diagrams, wireframes, interactive prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups to effectively communicate design ideas and direction. Our UX teams aspire to create products that users love, enhancing productivity for salespeople, empowering marketers, and enriching developers' applications. Behind each product is a dedicated team of talented UX designers and engineers, driven by the power of design to build integrated and ethical experiences that foster strong relationships between users and their customers. In this role, you will be responsible for communicating clear and compelling ideas to a wide range of stakeholders through documentation, reviews, and presentations. You will serve as a bridge connecting design, product, engineering, and marketing teams, working closely with product owners, engineers, and user research to create a cohesive vision for the product area. You will oversee multiple web and mobile application features, ensuring that designs adhere to and extend the existing style guide, while generating detailed final design specifications that inspire accurate developer builds. Additionally, you will mentor new design staff and advocate for accessibility, encouraging product and engineering management to prioritize accessible features and bug fixes.
