About the position
The Principal Product Development (Product Line Manager) at Elbit Systems of America is a remote role focused on leading the development of night vision technologies. The successful candidate will serve as the subject matter expert, guiding product requirements, design trade-offs, and strategic direction for the Warfighter Systems business unit. This position involves collaboration with various stakeholders to ensure the integration of night vision technologies into comprehensive soldier systems, while also advocating for customer needs and driving product strategy.
Responsibilities
- Own a designated product group within the Warfighter Systems business unit.
- Define requirements, design tradeoff guidance, feature prioritization, and strategic direction for night vision technology development.
- Collaborate with senior leadership on product strategies to acquire new business.
- Develop product offering business cases and execute the Warfighter Systems strategy with cross-functional teams.
- Oversee total Product Lifecycle Sustainment and seek maximum business efficiency.
- Translate customer needs into technical requirements and develop product offering strategies.
- Analyze competitive strategies and provide competitive assessment advice to the business.
- Lead product development checkpoint reviews and monitor product development activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
- 8+ years of experience with Warfighter Systems, night vision technology, optics, or equivalent experience.
- Strong knowledge of imaging sensors, optical systems, radio technologies, and IP networking.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced, high-stakes environment.

- Current US Government Secret Security Clearance
- Experience with face-to-face customer interactions
