About the position

As a Principal Product Manager, you will be instrumental in leading the development and delivery of technology products within the organization. This role involves defining product strategies, managing cross-functional teams, and ensuring the successful launch of innovative solutions that align with customer needs and business objectives. A strong understanding of technology, market trends, and the product development lifecycle is essential for success in this position.

Responsibilities

• Develop and articulate a clear product vision and strategy in alignment with the company's overall objectives and customer needs.
• Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and gather customer feedback to identify opportunities and market gaps.
• Create and manage the product roadmap, prioritizing feature releases and enhancements based on resources.
• Collaborate with engineering, design, marketing, and sales teams to define project scope, timelines, and resources.
• Lead cross-functional teams through the product development lifecycle, ensuring timely and high-quality project delivery.
• Oversee the design, development, and testing phases, ensuring alignment with strategy and requirements.
• Build and lead a high-performing product team, fostering collaboration and innovation.
• Provide mentorship, guidance, and support for team members' growth and skill development.
• Monitor industry trends, customer needs, and competitor offerings to identify potential product enhancements and new opportunities.
• Collect and analyze user feedback and data to inform product decisions.
• Work with marketing and sales teams to develop effective product launch strategies to drive adoption and market penetration.
• Monitor post-launch performance and address any user issues.
• Oversee the entire product lifecycle, including updates, upgrades, and retirements.
• Define and manage the product development budget, ensuring resources are allocated cost-effectively.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
• 15+ years of experience, with proven experience as a Product Manager or Product Leader in the technology industry.
• Strong technical background, familiarity with software development processes, experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies, and proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project).
• Organized, detail-oriented, able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent customer service orientation.
• Supervisory skills including delegation, training, and performance evaluation.
