About the position

The Group Product Manager will lead and mentor a team of Product Managers responsible for a significant portion of Ford's e-commerce platform. This strategic role involves defining the product vision, strategy, and roadmap, ensuring alignment with company goals while maximizing business impact. The position requires a strong leader with a proven track record in product management, particularly in e-commerce, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Define and champion the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for assigned product areas.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of Product Managers.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive product roadmaps, prioritizing features and initiatives based on business value.
  • Conduct thorough market research and competitive analysis to inform product strategy.
  • Effectively communicate product vision, strategy, and progress to stakeholders across various departments.
  • Prioritize and manage multiple product initiatives simultaneously, ensuring on-time and within-budget delivery.
  • Define, track, and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success.
  • Work closely with engineering, design, marketing, and other teams to ensure seamless product development and launch.
  • Foster a culture of innovation and experimentation within the team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science or related field or equivalent work experience.
  • 7+ years of experience in eCommerce Product Management.
  • 3+ years in a leadership role managing a team of Product Managers or Product Owners.
  • 3+ years of experience in successfully launching and scaling products in a full-funnel e-commerce environment.

Nice-to-haves

  • Master's Degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science or related field.
  • Experience with modern website architecture leveraging reusable componentry and design systems.
  • Deep understanding of the e-commerce landscape, including key metrics and competitive dynamics.
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
