About the position

The Principal Product Manager for AWS Cloud Governance will lead the development and management of Cloud Governance services, ensuring they align with AWS's business objectives. This role focuses on creating a unified end-to-end experience for customers, overseeing the strategic direction of Cloud Governance products, and driving large initiatives while managing a few individual contributors. The position requires collaboration with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to enhance AWS's cloud offerings.

Responsibilities

• Manage a few critical individual contributors (ICs) within the Cloud Governance team.
• Develop mechanisms to ensure the Cloud Governance services work in coordination with each other.
• Create an end-state vision for Cloud Governance, including integration across AWS services and generative AI opportunities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in a technical field.
• 6+ years of experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product.
• 6+ years of experience on technical products and teams.
• 4+ years of experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience as a strong leader who can prioritize well and communicate clearly across cross-functional teams.
• Experience with AWS or cloud computing services.
• MBA or master's degree in a technical field.
• 6+ years of experience working directly with Engineers on product enhancements.
• 6+ years of experience in project management methodologies, business analysis, or process improvement.
