About the position

The Principal Product Manager for Engineering Excellence will lead initiatives within the Cybersecurity & Trust Engineering team, focusing on enhancing security frameworks and driving engineering efficiencies. This role is pivotal in instilling cohesion and accountability across engineering efforts while promoting a culture of innovation and data-driven transformation. The successful candidate will manage product development, ensuring alignment with customer goals and leveraging advanced technologies, including AI, to enrich developer experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze customer and market signals to define problems and incubate solutions across multiple feature areas.
  • Own and drive the roadmap for product and service development, defining long-term vision and strategy while prioritizing the backlog.
  • Build trust with customers and orchestrate communication to capture feedback throughout the product development lifecycle.
  • Lead analysis of cybersecurity, privacy, resiliency, and responsible AI requirements to establish engineering standards.
  • Set priorities and craft roadmaps to integrate non-functional standards throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Develop technical expertise in interdisciplinary areas such as cybersecurity and AI engineering, supervising Scrum Masters and Technical Program Managers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree AND 8+ years of experience in product/service/project/program management or software development.
  • 5+ years of experience with Azure DevOps or similar agile tools.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a United States Security Clearance.
  • 2+ years of experience with PowerBI.
  • 3+ years of combined experience in cybersecurity, privacy, resiliency, and AI development.
  • 5+ years of experience managing complex projects, including requirement gathering and product feature writing.

Nice-to-haves

  • Lean Six Sigma, PMP, or Product Owner Certification.
  • Design skills, including familiarity with UX design and tools like Figma.
  • Understanding of basic AI concepts (LLMs, ML, prompt engineering).
  • Proactive attitude with a positive outlook on change management.
  • Ability to influence stakeholders inside and outside the team.
