About the position

We are looking to hire experienced Product Managers who lead from a customer-first product mindset and embody the Moderna Mindsets with a passion to change the future of medicine. In this role, you will work on exciting, cutting-edge technology and build initiatives/products from the ground up to empower our drive our product roadmaps across the organization, with the ultimate goal of transforming patients' lives. As a Principal Product Manager, you will partner closely with cross-functional teams to define and deliver on Moderna's revolutionary Individualized Neoantigen Therapy digital products and services for patients and providers, serving both internal and external customers and users. You will define and drive product strategy and roadmap, develop product solutions to execute on the market potential and benefits possible from applying Moderna's technologies in the enterprise market, and convert solution ideas into action through stories, mockups, and prototypes, bridging the gap between idea and product. Your role will also involve launching new products and features, testing their performance, and iterating quickly while connecting the technical and business worlds. You will be responsible for breaking down complex problems into steps that drive product development, deeply understanding the digital health and pharma ecosystem markets, competition, and user requirements. Additionally, you will develop solutions to problems by collaborating as needed across regions, product areas, and functions, ensuring that the products meet the needs of our users and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Partner closely with cross-functional teams to define and deliver on Moderna's Individualized Neoantigen Therapy digital products and services.
  • Define and drive product strategy and roadmap.
  • Develop product solutions to execute on the market potential and benefits from applying Moderna's technologies.
  • Convert solution ideas into action through stories, mockups, and prototypes.
  • Launch new products and features, test their performance, and iterate quickly.
  • Connect the technical and business worlds.
  • Break down complex problems into steps that drive product development.
  • Deeply understand the digital health and pharma ecosystem markets, competition, and user requirements.
  • Develop solutions to problems by collaborating across regions, product areas, and functions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, software engineering, industrial engineering, or a related field, or 5 years of equivalent professional experience.
  • A minimum of 9 years of relevant job experience in digital product management, focusing on digital health or pharma.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams, including engineering, UX, and program management.
  • Experience working in an Agile SDLC and leading the entire product discovery effort, creating functional and technical user stories.
  • Experience managing the development of regulated digital products (GCP, GXP, ISO 13485, IEC 62304).
  • Ability to quickly learn and manage highly sophisticated technical products and systems, including ML-based algorithms.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience building and launching technology products and platforms at scale.
  • Experience building products from concept to production.
  • Strong domain knowledge in AI and Analytics, Digital Health, ideally within pharma and healthcare.
  • Acquaintance with the US health system, having delivered products to physicians, patients, payers, and providers.
  • Experience working in life sciences, pharma/biotech, healthtech.
  • Experience managing the development of regulated digital products (GCP, GXP, ISO 13485, IEC 62304).
  • Experience working in a matrixed organization.
