About the position

Moderna is seeking a Principal Product Manager to lead the development of innovative digital health products and services. This role focuses on creating impactful solutions that enhance patient care and provider services through cutting-edge technology. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to define product strategies, manage product roadmaps, and ensure successful product launches, all while embodying a customer-first mindset.

Responsibilities

  • Partner closely with cross-functional teams to define and deliver on Moderna's Individualized Neoantigen Therapy digital products and services.
  • Define and drive product strategy and roadmap.
  • Develop product solutions to execute on market potential and benefits from Moderna's technologies.
  • Convert solution ideas into action through stories, mockups, and prototypes.
  • Launch new products and features, test their performance, and iterate quickly.
  • Connect the technical and business worlds.
  • Break down complex problems into steps that drive product development.
  • Understand the digital health and pharma ecosystem markets, competition, and user requirements.
  • Collaborate across regions, product areas, and functions to develop solutions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, software engineering, industrial engineering, or a related field, or 5 years of equivalent professional experience.
  • A minimum of 9 years of relevant job experience in digital product management, focusing on digital health or pharma.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams, including engineering, UX, and program management.
  • Experience in an Agile SDLC, leading product discovery efforts and creating user stories.
  • Experience managing the development of regulated digital products (GCP, GXP, ISO 13485, IEC 62304).
  • Ability to quickly learn and manage sophisticated technical products and systems, including ML-based algorithms.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience building and launching technology products and platforms at scale.
  • Strong domain knowledge in AI and Analytics, Digital Health, ideally within pharma and healthcare.
  • Acquaintance with the US health system, having delivered products to physicians, patients, payers, and providers.
  • Experience working in life sciences, pharma/biotech, healthtech.
  • Experience working in a matrixed organization.
