About the position

At LinkedIn, we are seeking an entrepreneurial Product Manager to join our Product Management team, specifically focusing on our LinkedIn Marketing Solutions (LMS) business. This role is pivotal in driving the success of our marketing platform, with a particular emphasis on our Ecosystem strategy. The Product Manager will help marketers effectively plan, market to, sell to, and service their customer organizations, while also assisting publishers in monetizing their audiences. This position will play a crucial role in defining LinkedIn's B2B strategy for more effective holistic marketing, collaborating with cross-functional peers across all LinkedIn lines of business and our ecosystem partners. Your passion for building highly technical products will be essential as you lead the development of cutting-edge technologies and market-differentiating customer features that will propel our evolution as a B2B marketplace. As a key member of the LMS product team, you will be responsible for delivering products and solutions that prioritize the member experience and provide incredible value to our advertisers. This role requires close collaboration with engineering, data sciences, and other cross-functional teams to build a suite of products and features utilizing leading-edge machine learning and big data technologies, ultimately helping our customers achieve their marketing objectives. You will work with Product, Engineering, Business Development, AI, and Marketing to create and articulate a compelling vision, strategy, and roadmap for your assigned product areas, ensuring alignment from stakeholder teams and executives to translate strategy into actionable product milestones that deliver incremental value to our customers.

Responsibilities

  • Work with Product, Engineering, Business Development, AI and Marketing to create and articulate a compelling vision, strategy, and roadmap for your assigned product areas.
  • Synthesize market needs from interactions with customers, partners, sales and marketing teams into product requirements and roadmap.
  • Define product metrics, objectives, and key results to help guide, prioritize, and measure the success of the strategy, product initiatives, and releases for the LMS business.
  • Work cross-functionally with engineering, data sciences, marketing, legal, and business development teams to build, release, promote, and successfully grow features from launch to maturity.
  • Make recommendations about whether to build, buy, or partner for key capabilities required to deliver products to the market.

Requirements

  • BS degree in a technology-related field or equivalent experience.
  • 9+ years of experience in a product management or equivalent role.

Nice-to-haves

  • MS or higher degree in a technology-related field
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with an ability to synthesize and simplify complex technical subjects for technical, non-technical, partner and executive audiences alike.
  • Exceptional ability to lead cross-functional teams. Experience working with a set of highly skilled engineers, data scientists, and designers.
  • Able to thrive in a fast paced environment. Strong analytical skills and ability to execute complex product launches.
  • Passionate for building data driven products and experience in leveraging ML to increase impact of B2C or B2B products.
  • Experience building data platform or data-heavy machine learning products at scale
  • Experience with B2B advertising, mobile, social or video problem spaces
