About the position

The Principal Product Manager for Omni Channel at Albertsons Companies will lead the product management for the "Product (Omni Item and Vendors) Merchandising Sub Pillar". This role involves defining the product vision and roadmap to achieve business KPIs, managing the product lifecycle, and ensuring the delivery of impactful products that enhance the shopping experience across omni channels. The ideal candidate will be a strategic visionary with a strong focus on user research, data interpretation, and innovative product development.

Responsibilities

  • Lead product management for the Omni Item and Vendor onboarding and maintenance experiences.
  • Define product vision and roadmap to achieve business KPIs.
  • Collect and interpret user research and data to inform product decisions.
  • Conceive innovative products and manage the product lifecycle.
  • Drive value to Albertsons' enterprise and customers shopping omni channels.
  • Foster healthy stakeholder relationships and challenge the status quo.
  • Drive cross-functional alignments for product area with various enterprise functions.
  • Own product backlog and prioritization, managing expectations and dependencies.
  • Identify challenges and root causes for continuous process and product improvements.
  • Spend time on product strategy definition, execution, and talent management.

Requirements

  • Strong customer obsession and strategic mindset.
  • Critical thinking and bias for action.
  • Data savvy with visual storytelling skills.
  • Technical proficiency in modern cloud-native tech stacks and legacy systems.
  • Retail Merchandising and/or Supply Chain knowledge.
  • Expertise in Omni Item Management, Item Master, and PIM domains.
  • Deep experience in building and launching complex merchandising and/or supply chain product platforms for Fortune 100 companies.
  • Demonstrable track record for innovation and value creation across people, process, and technology.
  • Ability to operate across the spectrum of product and program management.

Nice-to-haves

  • Master's degree preferred, with a preference for an MBA.
  • Experience in management consulting or technology.
