The Principal Product Manager, Social Media Marketing, is a strategic and data-driven product management role responsible for the product strategy, roadmap, and execution for our Social Media Marketing offering. The ideal candidate will be equal parts innovator and executor, who can bring best-in-class product design solutions to market, who has a strong analytical orientation, and who has the business acumen to make the appropriate prioritization decisions. The ideal candidate will also be an effective leader and communicator. You will lead a group of passionate engineers to deliver features that are aligned with our vision. This vision is actionable, backed by research, and drives clear ROI for our users and the Company. You will use insightful research and metrics to construct and defend your ideas, embrace feedback, and thrive in an iterative environment. You will be a strong communicator, presenting your work to all audiences, including executives, and will be influential in your approach. You will advocate for design excellence, understanding how design impacts development and vice versa. Your designs should be feasible to implement, and you'll ensure they're developed accurately. You will collaborate with product managers, technical leads, customers, and other stakeholders to introduce, iterate, and clarify requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a group of engineers to deliver features aligned with the product vision.
  • Construct and defend product ideas using insightful research and metrics.
  • Embrace feedback and thrive in an iterative environment.
  • Communicate effectively with all audiences, including executives.
  • Advocate for design excellence and ensure designs are feasible to implement.
  • Collaborate with product managers, technical leads, customers, and stakeholders to clarify requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, or related field.
  • At least 8+ years of experience in product management.
  • Experience leading multiple product areas simultaneously.
  • Deep understanding of social media platforms and social media marketing.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative, agile environment.
  • Strong quantitative and qualitative business analytics skills.
  • Experience in building business cases and getting buy-in from senior leadership.
  • Self-motivated with outstanding communication skills.
  • Ability to influence product and engineering organizations.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in a hybrid work model.
  • Familiarity with agile methodologies.
  • Experience in user experience design.
