About the position

The Principal Product Manager for OpsTech Solutions at Amazon.com Services LLC is responsible for overseeing the technical roadmap of Network Infrastructure products and services. This role involves shaping business strategy, managing product development life cycles, and ensuring the delivery of reliable IT infrastructure across Amazon's global operations. The successful candidate will lead a product management team, interact with customers and stakeholders, and drive the long-term vision for networking solutions, balancing business needs with technical constraints.

Responsibilities

• Manage the product management team and develop team members.
• Set the overall product vision and direction for the Networking space.
• Work with engineering teams to translate customer needs into workable technology solutions that scale operationally.
• Interact with customers and internal stakeholders to formulate business strategies and shape product direction.
• Define and prioritize features and requirements and oversee them from ideation to sprint planning and delivery.
• Perform customer interviews and surveys, and analyze metrics to inform product decisions.
• Synthesize external and internal data to drive clarity and alignment through business writing such as narrative papers and PR-FAQs.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Analytics, Mathematics, Statistics, IT or equivalent.
• 10+ years of technical product or program management experience.
• Experience in technical product management and shaping business strategy for software products.
• Experience leading cross-organizational programs and managing timelines and deliverables without explicit authority.
• Strong understanding of network infrastructure and internet technologies.
• Ability to communicate clearly and compellingly, driving focus and excellence within a team.
