About the position

The Amazon Ship Tech (STS) team is seeking a product leader to drive the development of next-generation transportation planning and intelligence products. This role involves owning critical services that utilize real-time insights and predictive supply chain data to enhance automation, efficiency, and visibility in transportation services. The ideal candidate will tackle complex global challenges, influence product direction, and ensure optimal delivery experiences for customers worldwide.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the subject matter expert in transportation and logistics, control towers, and workflow automation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications and drive successful implementation of new product features.
• Develop a comprehensive product roadmap that aligns with the company's strategic objectives and effectively communicates it to stakeholders.
• Continuously gather and analyze customer feedback, market intelligence, and industry insights to inform product decisions.
• Champion a user-centric design approach to optimize user experience and drive product adoption.
• Manage the product lifecycle from ideation to launch, ensuring milestones are met and risks are mitigated.
• Represent the product and the company at industry events, conferences, and customer meetings.

Requirements

• 8+ years of technical product or program management experience.
• Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition.
• Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field; advanced degree preferred.
• Extensive knowledge of transportation and logistics concepts, control tower technologies, and workflow automation solutions.
• Proficient in interpreting and translating complex technical requirements into user-friendly products.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience working directly with Engineers on product enhancements.
• Experience in project management methodologies, business analysis, or process improvement.
• 4+ years experience in Supply Chain, Transportation, Logistics operations.
• 8+ years of experience delivering successful Transportation and Logistics products.
