About the position

The Principal Product Manager - Tech for Prime Video Personalization & Discovery will lead the development of superior customer experiences for Prime Video users globally. This role involves end-to-end ownership of product strategy, user experience, design, and technology, working collaboratively across various teams to enhance the Prime Video platform.

Responsibilities

• Own a substantial portion of the product strategy and vision for Prime Video Personalization & Discovery.
• Develop product roadmaps to execute on the product vision.
• Collaborate with engineering, science, project management, design, operations, finance, legal, business development, customer service, content acquisition, and executive teams.
• Drive feature delivery and manage tradeoffs related to product development.
• Lead engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy for the product.

Requirements

• 8+ years of technical product or program management experience.
• 6+ years of end-to-end product delivery experience.
• Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product.
• Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition.
• Bachelor's degree.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in project management methodologies, business analysis, or process improvement.
• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative/technical field such as computer science, engineering, or statistics.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to prioritize and communicate effectively across teams.
• Experience working with and influencing senior level stakeholders.
• Experience developing consumer-impacting applications of machine learning or artificial intelligence.
