About the position

The Principal Product Manager - Tech for Prime Video Personalization & Discovery will play a crucial role in enhancing the customer experience for Prime Video users globally. This position involves end-to-end ownership of product strategy, user experience, design, and technology, focusing on delivering innovative and superior entertainment experiences. The role requires collaboration across various teams and a strong analytical approach to drive product roadmaps and execution.

Responsibilities

• Own a substantial portion of the product strategy and vision for Prime Video Personalization & Discovery.
• Develop product roadmaps to execute on the product vision.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, design, operations, and business development to optimize customer experience.
• Lead engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to the product.
• Analyze data to inform product decisions and improve user experience.

Requirements

• 8+ years of technical product or program management experience.
• 6+ years of end-to-end product delivery experience.
• Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product.
• Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition.
• Bachelor's degree.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in project management methodologies, business analysis, or process improvement.
• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative/technical field such as computer science, engineering, or statistics.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to prioritize and communicate effectively across teams.
