About the position

The Principal Product Manager Technical for Ads AI Assistant at Amazon is responsible for leading the development of innovative generative AI solutions that enhance the advertiser experience. This role involves collaborating with scientists and cross-functional teams to create AI-driven products that transform the ad-buying landscape, ensuring that both advertisers and agencies can optimize their campaigns effectively.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with leading scientists to develop prototypes and validate new concepts
• Craft AI-first experiences by working closely with designers, scientists, and cross-functional teams
• Develop a strategic vision for generative AI solutions that address customer and advertiser needs
• Create various product artifacts, such as shaping documents, BRDs, PR FAQs, and more
• Analyze voice-of-the-customer feedback and quality benchmark results to inform decision-making
• Stay up-to-date with industry publications and new developments in the field
• Ship gen AI products with significant customer and advertiser impact
• Conduct customer interviews, deep dive into Gen AI tools and data
• Quarterback a cross functional team through design, development, launch

Requirements

• 4+ years of end to end product delivery experience
• 8+ years of technical product or program management experience
• Bachelor's degree
• Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
• Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
• Experience leading engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
• Experience technical product management

Nice-to-haves

• Experience working directly with Engineers on product enhancements
• Experience in project management methodologies, business analysis, or process improvement
