About the position

The Principal Product Manager - Technical for Amazon's Advertising Technology team is responsible for leading the ad-identity team, which is crucial for the programmatic advertising business. This role involves defining and executing cross-functional products, collaborating with various stakeholders, and driving product insights and strategy to enhance advertising effectiveness. The position requires a strong focus on customer needs, technical product management expertise, and the ability to navigate complex business environments.

Responsibilities

• Identify new business opportunities and define new products and initiatives that will work at scale.
• Own key metrics and drive continuous improvement by collaborating closely with engineering and other stakeholders.
• Interface with and influence stakeholders, balancing business needs with technical constraints.
• Interact with ad-tech companies and industry bodies to drive key business objectives.
• Stay updated on trends in the advertising identity industry and partner with stakeholders to deliver programs that keep Amazon at the forefront.

Requirements

• 2+ years of end-to-end product delivery experience.
• 8+ years of technical product or program management experience.
• Bachelor's degree.
• Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product.
• Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition.
• Experience leading engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product.
• Experience in technical product management.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience working directly with Engineers on product enhancements.
• Experience in project management methodologies, business analysis, or process improvement.
