About the position

The Principal Product Manager - Technical for Amazon Fashion & Fitness is responsible for creating innovative shopping experiences that help customers discover complementary products. This role requires a customer-obsessed individual who can think big, challenge the status quo, and leverage technical expertise to drive product strategy and execution. The ideal candidate will utilize data-driven decision-making to enhance product delivery and business growth while collaborating across various teams to achieve organizational goals.

Responsibilities

• Present a bold product vision using strong writing and communication skills.
• Work backwards from the customer to build compelling business cases and generate innovative ideas supported by data analysis.
• Define requirements and lead prioritization and long-term roadmap definition for new features.
• Collaborate with engineering and stakeholder teams to execute development efforts and timelines.
• Establish and be responsible for critical goals and KPIs, influencing them through effective feature design and development.
• Drive change management, global standardization, application optimization, scalability, and agility in feature design.
• Influence and drive consensus across the Fashion and Fitness organization and Amazon broadly.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• 10+ years of end-to-end product delivery experience.
• Experience in technical product management and feature delivery.
• Strong writing and communication skills.
• Experience with machine learning, automation, and generative AI technologies.
• Proven ability to build and manage critical features at speed.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with APIs and project management methodologies.
• Background in business analysis or process improvement.
