About the position

The Principal Product Manager-Technical for External Services at Amazon is responsible for leading the strategy, roadmap, and performance of AWS offerings in restricted access regions. This role requires a blend of technical expertise and business acumen to deliver innovative cloud computing solutions to the U.S. Intelligence Community and Department of Defense. The position involves product planning, feature definition, pricing analysis, and collaboration with various teams to drive product vision and business development.

Responsibilities

• Own product planning in roadmap and feature definition.
• Conduct pricing analysis and ensure contractual compliance.
• Forecast capacity and optimize P&L.
• Coordinate with Go-To-Market teams on product positioning and promotion.
• Engage with executive leaders of customers and partners to iterate on product vision.
• Shape the vision for future customer capabilities and develop strategies to achieve it.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience as a Technical Product Manager.
• 5+ years of technical experience in software development, network development, IT, or related fields.
• Experience delivering large-scale SaaS, PaaS, or LaaS products throughout the full product lifecycle.
• Current, active US Government Security Clearance of TS/SCI with Polygraph.
