About the position

The Principal, Product Manager-Technical for External Services at Amazon Web Services (AWS) is responsible for the strategy, roadmap, and performance of restricted access regions. This role involves delivering innovative cloud computing solutions to the U.S. Intelligence Community and Department of Defense, requiring a blend of technical expertise and strategic business understanding. The position demands a proactive approach to product planning, feature definition, and collaboration with various teams to drive product vision and business development.

Responsibilities

• Own product planning in roadmap and feature definition.
• Conduct pricing analysis and ensure contractual compliance.
• Forecast capacity and optimize P&L.
• Coordinate with Go-To-Market teams on product positioning, promotion, and sales enablement.
• Engage with executive leaders of customers and partners to iterate on product vision and drive business development.
• Shape the vision for future customer capabilities and develop a strategy to achieve that vision.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience as a Technical Product Manager.
• 5+ years of technical experience in software development, network development, IT, or related fields.
• Experience delivering large-scale SaaS, PaaS, or LaaS products, responsible for the full product lifecycle from concept through go-to-market.
• Current, active US Government Security Clearance of TS/SCI with Polygraph.
