About the position

As a Principal Product Manager-Technical at Datalign Advisory, you will own the end-to-end product lifecycle for critical components of our AI-driven financial advisory platform. This role involves defining product strategy, leading development efforts, and collaborating cross-functionally to drive product innovation and growth. You will influence product vision while focusing on high-level strategy and complex product execution, requiring a blend of strategic thinking and technical understanding.

Responsibilities

• Own and develop the product strategy for a key component of Datalign Advisory's platform.
• Define and execute the product roadmap, balancing short-term deliverables with long-term strategic initiatives.
• Engage deeply with users and financial advisors to understand their challenges and needs.
• Collaborate with engineering, design, data science, and marketing teams to bring the product vision to life.
• Leverage data to make informed product decisions and drive continuous improvements.
• Stay on top of industry trends, competitor products, and emerging technologies.
• Own the full product lifecycle from concept to launch, prioritizing features and writing detailed product requirements.
• Clearly communicate product progress, updates, and decisions to stakeholders at all levels.
• Proactively identify new opportunities to improve the platform and expand its capabilities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a technical field.
• 7+ years of experience in product management with a proven track record of delivering impactful software products.
• Experience leading complex product initiatives as an individual contributor.
• Strong understanding of agile product development methodologies and software engineering processes.
• Demonstrated ability to think strategically and solve complex problems with a customer-centric approach.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across teams and with senior leadership.
• Experience with data-driven product management, including developing KPIs, running A/B tests, and using analytics tools.

Nice-to-haves

• MBA or advanced degree in a related field.
• Experience in the fintech or financial advisory industry.
• Familiarity with AI, machine learning, and data science-driven products.
• Strong understanding of user experience design, customer segmentation, and experimentation frameworks.
• Experience in scaling products in high-growth, dynamic environments.
