About the position

The Principal Product Manager - Technical will lead the development and enhancement of online self-service tools at TE Connectivity. This role focuses on driving the vision, strategy, and execution of complex self-service solutions to improve customer experience. The ideal candidate will leverage their expertise in digital product management, user experience, and cross-functional collaboration to create intuitive and efficient online tools.

Responsibilities

  • Develop a comprehensive roadmap for self-service online tools aligned with strategic priorities, market trends, and customer needs.
  • Lead the end-to-end product lifecycle, from ideation to launch and iteration, collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Conduct in-depth user research, gather feedback, and analyze user behavior to identify pain points and opportunities for improvement.
  • Partner with UX experts to ensure self-service functionalities are intuitive and user-friendly.
  • Define and prioritize features based on impact, feasibility, and user value.
  • Utilize agile methodologies to guide the product development process and manage the product backlog.
  • Collaborate with design, development, and quality assurance teams to ensure successful implementation of features.
  • Develop test plans and coordinate testing efforts to ensure product readiness and quality assurance.
  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and utilize data-driven insights for continuous optimization.
  • Communicate project updates and product strategies to stakeholders and internal teams.
  • Provide coaching and feedback to grow the product manager team.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in digital product management, preferably with self-service features.
  • BA/BS degree in Business, Marketing, Internet Technology, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with data-driven decision-making capabilities.
  • Experience working directly with engineers on product enhancements.
  • Experience in an Agile/Scrum environment and familiarity with Jira or equivalent tools.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to thrive in a matrix environment with cross-functional collaboration.
