About the position

The Principal Product Manager will lead the Search charter for Grocery & Stock-up missions on Amazon.com, including Grocery banners like Whole Foods Market and Fresh. This role focuses on enhancing the customer experience, search relevance, and offers experience for grocery shopping. The manager will collaborate with senior leaders and cross-functional teams to develop a strategic roadmap that meets customer needs while ensuring high performance and sustainable solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the overall Search charter for Grocery & Stock-up missions on Amazon.com.
  • Drive change across key elements of Search including Customer Experience, Search Relevance, and Offers Experience for Grocery.
  • Work closely with senior business, product, and finance leaders to define problems and solutions.
  • Influence data scientists, designers, and engineers to build a clear roadmap for improving basket-building and search experience.
  • Establish new mental models with business executives and guide end-to-end development from customer requirements through research and development.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 10+ years of product or program management experience
  • 10+ years of technical product or program management experience
  • Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience working directly with Engineers on product enhancements
  • Experience in project management methodologies, business analysis, or process improvement.
